Since my sea creatures series, I haven't done a lot. Sadly, I've been really busy and have had difficulty finding time for my projects. I am moving, which entails lots of different things (finding a place in my new town, transferring jobs and schools, packing and moving all our stuff, cramming my stupid cats into their crates, etc). I also just had surgery on my mouth, but I had my follow-up today, and the doc says I'm looking good. That on top of school and work has had me running around a lot. Hi! Finding time to paint lately has been difficult because along with working, I've recently started college. I'm loving it though, college is wonderful. I'm studying to become a high school teacher, and of course, I want to teach art. If I can't for some reason, I would go for English, but I would prefer to teach art. Anyway, I recently finished a series of three paintings, the unifying theme being "Aquatic Creatures". They are called Alpha Beta Fish (a beta fish), Janet (a jellyfish) and Friendly Apparition (a levitating crab). I haven't put up anything new in a while, but now I've finally gotten around to painting something. It was a quick one, I just procrastinated. It's called Noxious, and it's a watercolor. I was trying to step out of my acrylic comfort zone. :p Please check it out and let me know what you think! :) Also...I made a group!
